Do I need a subscription?
No. Amar has no monthly, weekly or yearly plans. You buy tokens only when you want them, and nothing renews automatically.
Is Amar free?
Downloading, creating a profile, browsing, liking and matching are all free, and new members get free welcome tokens. Tokens are only used when you message or call a match.
What is Happy Hour?
Every evening from 6 to 8 PM, every token you spend on calls gets you double the minutes. We also run special Happy Hour promotions from time to time and let you know by push notification.
Can anyone message me?
No. Chat and calls only unlock when you've both liked each other, so your inbox stays free of spam.
How do you keep fake profiles out?
Members can verify with a short video selfie that's automatically compared with their profile photos. Verified members get a blue tick, and you can video call before you ever meet.
Is Amar on iPhone?
The iPhone app is coming soon. In the meantime you can use Amar in any browser at amar-dating-app.web.app.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, any time from Settings in the app. See our data deletion page for details.
